An officer could go to prison for having a certain relationship with an enlisted person. You could be charged with a crime, for playing basketball with them, and referring to them by their nickname, "hey t-bone, I'm open. Hey t-bone, nice shot." Say it enough, say it in the 'wrong way' - its a crime.
