"Experience should teach us to be most on our guard to protect liberty when the government's purposes are beneficial. Men born to freedom are naturally alert to repel invasion of their liberty by evil-minded rulers. The greater dangers to liberty lurk in insidious encroachment by men of zeal, well-meaning but without understanding." - Louis Brandeis
There is a theory of character and of predictability. It's called, "What you are now is where you were when." (the When happens in your pre-teen years when your mores and beliefs are cemented).
His babysitter in Indonesia was a transvestite/sexual pervert, his mother was a communist, his absentee father was a communist, whore chaser and drunk, his Uncle Frank was a communist, both grandparents were communists. He belonged to a church for 21 years that preached ONLY racial hatred and bigotry with special malice toward America.
The only question is how he could have turned out differently?
