Memories...

With the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy assassination, and the 150th anniversary of the Gettysburg Address, there has been a lot of reminiscing.

For the most part Kennedy is remembered nothing like he really was.  That is often the case.

I do not believe that is the case with Ronald Reagan.  I believe we, each and every American, remembers exactly what he did, what he stood for, and what he was:

...and remember, this was before Jurassic Park, most people didn't even know about Velociraptors!

Reagan was a giant in so many ways. The nation really needed him and he stepped up to meet the challenge. It was on his watch that the Soviet Union crumbled and the wall came down.

Kennedy screwed up just about everything that he touched - and getting killed was literally the best thing that could have happened for the sake of his national memory.

Ronald Reagan was the best president of my lifetime. Kennedy was assassinated when I was in the womb.

When Kennedy died so did the more conservative wing of the Democrat Party. Now they are closer to communists and what Reagan fought his whole presidency.

Kennedy was an exploding bolt. Reagan had charisma.
