Safety First . . .

“We can’t allow toxic things to be in our schools,” said a spokesman for the Texas school district that confiscated the suntan lotion of a 10-year-old who then became sunburned on a school trip. Students, the spokesman explained, “could ingest it. It’s really a dangerous situation.”

"Not as dangerous as entrusting children to schools run by mindless martinets." - George Will

It should be noted that in the article by Will linked above, he is clearly opposed to police having "fighting knives," and Mine Resistant Armored Vehicles.

A cop will not need those everyday, but he only needs them once for their possession to be justified. An officer can go a full career without discharging his firearm in the line of duty. But it must be on his hip every shift for 20 years...

Or is Will against the police departments getting these items for FREE from the military. Would he rather they be scrapped? I get that it "looks" like a military, but suits on writers look just like suits of dictators...

If I was that parent, I'd open a can of whoop-ass on the teacher and make it look like the teacher started it. When the police arrived, I'd place the teacher under citizen's arrest (misdemeanor not committed in the officer's presence) for assault and battery.

The incident is a testament to the virtue of home schooling.

George Will and the whole "beltway intelligencia" are a bunch of pampered pussies.

We need a George Patton to square the place away. I know that it's a vain hope, but you just want to give these clowns a swift kick in the pants and tell them to "man up".

If we can't allow toxic things in our schools, I suggest we confiscate all the liberals and take them away from the children.
