JUSTICE!

Who can stop this? Who can protect our right to have our vote count? The United States Department of Justice. If they won't fight for justice for everyone, we can't trust them to fight for justice for anyone.

Maybe there's somebody here who knows a lot about the FBI and related agencies...

Can an agent who gets a whiff of something wrong just go ahead and start investigating, or must everything be assigned to him/her by some higher-up?

I've heard...that agents start their own investigations, until it reaches a point where a stupidvisor approves it and it becomes 'a case.' But...an agent can investigate all he wants, it takes a prosecutor to take it to court.

...if you get an FBI Agent to investigate, a Supervisor to approve it, an Assisted United States Attorney to prosecute it - in most cases you have what can be called a 'slam dunk.'

That's what makes the story so frustrating, its not that these cases aren't 'easy wins' - its that somebody has refused to fight.
