Joe Montana: 4 super-bowls, won first super-bowl in third year, won 3 SB MVP'S, helped the Niners be the first team in NFL history to win 5 SB's, came back from being down to winning the game 31 times, Montana was elected a Pro Bowler 8 times as well as being 1st team All Pro by the AP in 1987, '89, and '90. OH! and he was also named a member of the NFL 1980s All-Decade Team, and "The Sporting News" named him third in their list of "Football's 100 Greatest Players", and one more small detail: "Sports Illustrated" named him the NUMBER 1 clutch QB of all time. Oh! and I'm not saying Rodger the Dodger isn't good, I'm simply saying Joe Montana is better. So uncle, next time you try to say such a false statement, I'd think twice if I were you.

Honestly, I expect no less from a Navy man.

Jonathan Rice - the point of the post was that being a college AND pro football superstar was but one of the things he has done...and that his most important accomplishments were before and after being America's Quarterback.

...not that late-night infomercials aren't important too.

Christopher Kopp- you obviously don't get it. MY comment was on how bad Joe Montana makes Rodger Staubach look. And you just like to come back to how much money Rodger made. Please for the sake of all of your blog readers, just get over the depression of us being good now and you... well, having Tony Romo. Just saying Tony Romo really explains the mess you're in.
- Your loving nephew.

I'm not going to be included in this immature banter. Joe Montana has clearly won the battle of QB's
